Bedroom / Before
Our house has one bedroom and this is what it looked like.
The same green carpet covered this room, but fortunately there were old fir floors underneath. The walk-in closet still befuddles us. We assume it was originally a back porch.
The light fixture, the pink trim, the lamp cord running along the baseboard because there were no outlets in the room – needless to say we had our work cut out for ourselves. To tide us over, we painted the walls and ceiling that blue color before moving in.
